Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar has formally resigned from his post, citing health-related reasons. In a brief official communication issued on Monday, Dhankhar stated that he is stepping down "to prioritise health care and abide by medical advice."
The resignation was submitted to President Droupadi Murmu and has been accepted as per protocol.
