PM Modi Visits Adampur Airbase in Punjab, Dispels Pakistani Claims with Live Evidence

Prime Minister meets IAF personnel at fully operational Adampur base; S-400 missile system intact despite Pakistan’s fake destruction claims.

Adampur, Punjab – May 13, 2025:
Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid a significant visit to the Adampur Airbase in Punjab on Monday, directly countering recent claims made by Pakistan's military. This strategic visit came days after Pakistan's Director General of Military Operations (DGMO) falsely asserted that the Pakistani forces had destroyed the Adampur Airbase and critical Indian defense assets, including the S-400 air defense system.

The Prime Minister was seen interacting with Indian Air Force (IAF) personnel and soldiers stationed at the base, reaffirming the government’s unwavering support for the Armed Forces. The visuals from the visit showed not only an operational and undamaged Adampur Airbase but also the S-400 system fully intact — offering live, irrefutable proof that the Pakistani narrative was completely baseless.

During his interaction, PM Modi commended the courage, discipline, and preparedness of India’s air warriors, emphasizing that the country stands strong in the face of misinformation and propaganda. “India’s strength lies in the dedication of our soldiers. No fake news or false narrative can shake our resolve,” he said.

This visit comes at a time when both China and Pakistan have been active in spreading disinformation regarding recent escalations. Interestingly, the Chinese defense sector also felt the ripple effects of the India-Pakistan standoff. Reports indicate that Chinese defense stocks dropped by nearly 9% following India’s successful neutralization of several Pakistan-deployed, Chinese-manufactured weapon systems.

Pakistan's Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) head, Lt. Gen. Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, had earlier claimed that Indian air defense systems were critically damaged during Pakistani operations — a claim now publicly discredited by PM Modi’s on-ground inspection.

This high-level visit sends a strong diplomatic and psychological message, reaffirming India’s strategic superiority and ability to expose false narratives through transparency and strength.

The Prime Minister’s move not only neutralizes falsehoods but also solidifies his image as a global leader unafraid to face challenges head-on and stand shoulder-to-shoulder with India's defenders.
